Lisa Margolis began her photography career shooting rock ‘n roll in New York City in the late 1960s as a high school student. Her work has been published in numerous magazines and newspapers such as the Los Angeles Times, Rolling Stone, Billboard, the New York Daily News, Creem, Crawdaddy and Zoo World. Her work has also been used as part of album packaging including the cover of Rod Stewart’s Every Picture Tells A Story and in the booklets for the Ten Years After Anthology 1967-1971 and Keep An Eye On the Sky: Big Star. In 2012, Lisa’s photos were featured in two motion pictures — Jobraith AD and Big Star: Nothing Can Hurt Me.
Lisa currently resides in Santa Monica with her cat, Jude, her many cameras and other photography equipment and numerous photography books.
